What this module is for
The module gives a free gift when the value of the products in the cart reaches a set amount. On the cart page the customer sees how much is still missing for the gift, and once it is reached, picks one of the gifts on offer. Several gift levels can be set, each with its own amount, period and gift list, so a bigger cart earns a better gift. The gift goes into the order at zero price and shows in the order confirmation and on the invoice.

What it does
The gift in the cart, in the order and on the invoice.
Several gift levels
Each level has its own amount and gift list. The customer chooses from the gifts of the highest level reached.
Time-limited offers
A first and a last day can be set for a level, so a weekend or holiday gift offer starts and ends on its own.
The customer chooses
In the window the customer searches and picks from the gifts of the level, for a product with combinations a given combination too. The gift can be changed later.
Order and invoice in order
The gift goes into the cart as a product and a discount line sets its price to zero. It shows in the order, the confirmation e-mail and on the invoice, and stock goes down.
Multistore, multi-currency
Own levels per webshop. A cart in another currency is compared after conversion at the exchange rate of the webshop.

Do you need a developer?
No. Upload the module the usual way, add a gift level and add the gift products. By default the gift box shows on the cart page under the products, and the chosen gift in the checkout summary.

What buyers ask before they order
How does the gift get into the order?

What happens when the customer removes products from the cart?
The module checks the cart on every page load. When the value falls below the amount of the level, the gift is removed and the customer sees why in one sentence.
Can there be several gift levels?
Yes. Each level gets its own amount and gift list; the customer chooses from the gifts of the highest level reached. A cart holds one gift.
Can a gift offer run for one week only?
Yes. A level can have a first and a last day. Without a last day it runs until it is switched off.
Can the customer choose a combination of the product?
Yes. A given combination can be put on the list of the level, or the product with the combination left to the customer.
Does it work with several webshops and currencies?
Yes. Each webshop has its own levels and settings. The currency of a level amount can be set, and a cart in another currency is compared after conversion at the exchange rate of the webshop.
Can the gift box show in another place of the theme?
Yes. The cart box and the checkout block can each be placed in any template of the theme with one line. The lines are in the documentation.
