A check before the page

A suspicious request gets a short browser check before the shop computes any results. A bot stops there, and a real browser moves on to the same page in a moment.

Trial mode, no risk

After installation the module only counts and stops nothing. The figures show what the protection would hold back before you switch it on.

Protection on the server too

Under a heavy attack the check runs before PrestaShop starts. On saving, the module tries its rules and takes them back if they do not work.

Google gets through

Crawlers of the major search engines are confirmed by a name check and skip the browser check. Anything merely posing as a search engine stops.

Alerts on heavy bot traffic

When more bot requests than your threshold arrive in 15 minutes, the module sends an e-mail, at most one an hour.

Accurate behind Cloudflare

One button fills in the Cloudflare details, so the module sees the visitor’s real address. Another allows the address of your own computer.

What buyers ask before they order

Will customers notice the protection?
Most see nothing: visitors coming from inside the shop, logged-in customers and visitors with a cart get no check. For someone arriving at a filtered address from outside, the browser runs the check in a moment and the requested page opens.
Does it harm SEO?
Confirmed crawlers of Google and the other major search engines pass without a check. Unfiltered categories, product pages, the cart and checkout keep working without the protection.
Do I need Cloudflare?
No, the module works on its own. If the shop runs behind Cloudflare, one button fills in the details it needs.
Does it work with my theme and my filter module?
The module does not depend on the theme. The built-in category filter and search are protected, and the parameter of another filter module can be added in the settings.
What if my hosting does not support protection on the server?
That mode then cannot be chosen, and the screen names the reason. The protection inside PrestaShop works on every server.
