What it does

Spam protection on every form of the webshop, without getting in the customer's way.

Connect with one token

The Cloudflare token page opens with the permission already selected. Once the token is pasted, the module creates the widgets for every webshop address in the webshop's own account. Without a token, the two keys of a widget made in Cloudflare can be entered instead.

Seven forms, each switchable

Contact, sign-in, registration, checkout, password reset, newsletter, reviews and comments. For each form, choose what happens when Cloudflare cannot be reached: the form goes through, or the visitor tries again a few minutes later.

A check nobody notices

By default the widget appears only when Cloudflare is unsure, so most visitors get no challenge at all. Theme, size and language follow the visitor and the page.

Own filters and exceptions

A hidden field and a shortest fill time stop bots before Cloudflare is even asked. Signed-in customers, listed IP addresses and visitors a bot protection module reports as clean go through without a check.

Statistics per form

A chart of the passed and refused submissions of the last 30 days, and a table per form: how often the widget was shown, how many submissions passed, how many the module refused, and how many went through while Cloudflare was down.

Rejected submissions with the reason

Every refused submission is listed with its time, form, reason and Cloudflare code. Only a one-way code of the visitor address is stored, and rows older than 90 days are deleted automatically.

What you need

Upload the module ZIP in the Module Manager as usual. Connecting needs a Cloudflare account; a free one is enough, and the webshop's domain does not have to be on Cloudflare. A scheduled task (cron) of the hosting, running every 15 minutes, watches the token state and new webshop addresses.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before buying

Do I need a paid Cloudflare plan?
No. A free Cloudflare account is enough, and the webshop's domain does not have to be on Cloudflare.
What is needed to connect?
A Cloudflare API token with the “Account → Turnstile → Edit” permission. The module opens the token page with that permission selected. Without a token, the two keys of a widget made in Cloudflare can be entered instead.
Which forms are protected?
The contact form, sign-in, registration, checkout, password reset, newsletter sign-up, and product reviews and blog comments. Reviews need the PrestaShop product comments module or the PrestaHU blog module.
What happens when Cloudflare cannot be reached?
It is set per form: the form goes through, or the visitor is asked to try again in a few minutes. Submissions let through during an outage are counted separately in the statistics.
Do customers see the check?
With the default settings most visitors see only a short sign and get no challenge: the widget asks for an action only when Cloudflare is unsure. An always visible widget can be set as well.
Can it be tried before going live?
Yes. Test mode uses the Cloudflare test keys for one IP address: the check always passes, always fails, or shows a visible challenge. Meanwhile every other visitor keeps the normal check.
Which PrestaShop versions does it work with?
PrestaShop 1.7.4 to 9, PHP 7.1 to 8.5, with one or more webshops.
What happens when the module is uninstalled?
The menu items are removed. The widgets stay in the Cloudflare account; if they are not needed either, they can be deleted from the Cloudflare account first, in the Disconnect window.
